Majimaji in safe horizon despite porous defence

Mtibwa Sugar
Songea-based top flight side Majimaji FC has taken huge leap to stay on safe horizon and suspend relegation fever after twenty appearances in the Mainland premier soccer league.

Positioned eleventh in the 16-team league, Majimaji has managed five wins, four draws and eleven loses to chalk 19 points.

The Songea team earned maximum points in their recent past game against visiting Mtibwa Sugar to stay comfortably in mid-table position.

However, the strongest weakness of the team is porous defence that has seen hefty 32 goals being conceded to culminate into minus twenty aggregate goals. The team has conceded the highest number of goals among all the premiership sides.

Majimaji have opened a four-point cushion above the relegation borderline.
