Dar es Salaam. President John Magufuli has appointed two police commissioners (CPs) new Regional Administrative Secretaries for Mwanza and Katavi regions.
Chief Secretary, Ombeni Sefue, mentioned them as Police Commissioner for Operations and Training, Paul Chagonja, and Director of Administration and Finance in the Police Force, Commissioner Clodwig Mtweve He said Mr Chagonja has been appointed RAS for Katavi Region. Mr Chagonja is replacing Mr Madeni Kipande whose appointment has been revoked.
Mr Mtweve has been appointed RAS for Mwanza after the Head of State revoked the appointment of Faisal Issa.
He said the two together with Mr Mahadhi Juma Maalim, who has been appointed new ambassador to Kuwait, will be sworn in at State House today.
